On the road again

I’ve been in Yellow Springs, Ohio since December 23rd, hanging with my mother, supposedly resting up, and reconnecting with friends in town. Did I mention that I *love* Yellow Springs, Ohio, the town where I grew up? In my opinion, it is a very wonderful, almost magical place. The people that this town has attracted are really quite outstanding: intelligent, thoughtful, down-to-earth. It has been a good stay.

But I have also been feeling antsy and ready to continue on to see more of my dear friends, and to get to my ultimate destination, because I am now so much closer than I was in Seattle. I could be in Florida in a day or two if I drove there directly, but I need to see my peeps in NYC, Boston and Chapel Hill.

I leave tomorrow morning. Here is my trajectory:

Yellow Springs to Miami

I hope to get some groovy clothes in New York. At least some nice shoes, as I am a self-proclaimed shoe ho. At least I will see some folks dear to my heart. I can shop anytime, right?

Wow I love your life-travel journal, what an exciting adventure you are having. We do not know each other; I live in yellow springs and found mention of your blog in the News 1-5-06. Take care, write a lot more. Nice to meet you here.
